Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryMAURICE AUGUST ALMEY Peacefully at the Lorne Memorial Hospital on Sunday, November 24, 2013, Maurice August Almey of Holland, MB passed away at the age of 93 years. He leaves to mourn two children, Linda Almey, and Glen (Carol) Almey, three grandchildren Erin, Michael (Julie) and Jamie (Rhonda); one great-grandson Andrew; sisters Alice Wytinck and Gerarda Sierens, sister-in-law Germaine Almey, as well as many nieces, nephews and friends. Maurice was predeceased by his wife Yvonne (nee Chevalier), parents Alphonse and Irma Almey, brothers Philemon and August (Angele) Almey, sister Mary Jansen-Lukacz, and by brothers-in-law Firmin Wytinck, Maurice Sierens, Jack Jansen and Max Lukacz. Mass of the Christian Burial will take place on Thursday, November 28, 2013 at 2:00 p.m. in the St. John Berchmans Catholic Church, Holland, MB. Prayers at 1:30 p.m. prior to Mass. Interment to follow in the St. John Berchmans Catholic Cemetery. As expressions of sympathy, if friends and family so desire, memorial donations in Maurice's name may be made to a charity of their choice. The family extends a special thank you to Dr. Desmond and the caring staff at Swan Lake Hospital.
