MARJORIE JOYCE MCIVOR (nee GABEL) October 27, 1935 - November 22, 2013 It with heavy hearts that we announce the sudden passing of Marjorie McIvor - Mother, Grandmother, Sister and Aunt. Marge will be sadly missed by her son Jim, daughter Leanne, son-in-law Derrick, her one and only grandson Ayden and her grand-dog Jackson, her sister Carol (Bill) Reinisch, brother Don (Val) Gabel, sisters-in-law Gail (Peter) McIvor, Isabella (Ray) Shannon, brother-in-law Ed Sarna; her nieces, Valerie, Margaret-Mary, Heather, Donna, Shelley, Kristen, as well as her nephews, Ronald, Ryan, Ian, Bruce and Warren and their families. She was predeceased by her husband Ian, brother Lawrence, and parents Frederick and Caroline Gabel. Mom is not only going to be sadly missed by her family but also by her dear friends from Stony Mountain, her ladies group, and her new friends that she has made since she moved to Stonewall. Mom had a variety of occupations throughout her life, from Secretary at Winnipeg School Division #1, to Dental Assisting, and then retiring from Progressive Manufacturing. Mom was such a sweet, generous, kind and gentle person. The best mom and grandmother you could ask for. As Ayden puts it "she is beautiful". We would like to thank those who helped mom during her illness, such as the friends who would call or visit her to those who would drive her to appointments. She appreciated everything you did for her! Mom, we miss you and love you so much! Memorial service will be held on Saturday, November 30, 2013 at 11:00 a.m. at MacKenzie Funeral Home, 433 Main Street, Stonewall, MB. In lieu of flowers, we ask that a donation be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Manitoba. MACKENZIE FUNERAL HOME STONEWALL (204) 467-2525 mackhome@mts.net
