RITA MARIE NAULT (CARRIERE) Peacefully on Tuesday, November 26, 2013, Rita passed away in Kingston, ON at the age of 87. Rita was born on January 7, 1926 in LaBroquerie, MB. After meeting her husband Eric in Macintosh, ON, they married on October 25, 1947 and celebrated 60 years together. They spent most of their years raising their children in Thompson, MB, until moving back to Winnipeg after retirement. Since the death of her husband, Rita lived in Picton, ON with her daughter and son-in-law while spending months travelling across the country to visit her siblings, children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Rita will be forever remembered by her children Rene (Jacqueline), Armond (Terese TC), Leonnne (Pierre) and Gerald (Wendy), 13 grandchildren and 21 great-grandchildren. She also leaves four sisters, two brothers, two brothers-in-law, three sisters-in-law as well as numerous nieces and nephews. In Rita's honour, and in lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation. Prayers are being held on Sunday, December 1 at 7:00 p.m. at Desjardins Funeral Chapel, 357 Des Meurons Street. The funeral mass will be held on Monday, December 2 at 10:30 a.m. at Saint-Martyrs-Canadiens Roman Catholic Church, 289 Dassault Ave. Interment will take place at Green Acres Memorial Gardens.
