Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryJ. AILEEN ASHBY Peacefully on November 30, 2013, Aileen passed away at the Grace Hospital after a brief illness. She was loved and will be missed by her daughter Diane (Randy) Cullen, grandchildren Michael (Tracey) and Cathy (Jayson) Adams, great-granddaughter, Shelby and great-grandson Kole. Mom was born September 8, 1923 to Ellen and Roderick McLennan and was predeceased by her husband John, her parents, brothers Alexander, Ken and Hugh, and sister Janet. In her younger years, Aileen was a keen (and very good) curler and also enjoyed golfing at the Assiniboine Golf Club. She loved entertaining and spending time with friends and family. She was a wonderful mom and grandmother and has left us all with many memories to cherish. We would like to thank the doctors and staff at the Grace for their kindness and great care given Mom in her last days. A service to celebrate Aileen's life will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, December 5, 2013, at St. Mary Anglican Church, 3830 Roblin Blvd., Winnipeg.
