CONNIE WRIGHT It is with unimaginable sadness that we lost our precious mother, Connie Wright on Wednesday, December 4, 2013 at Concordia Place Personal Care Home. Tonight when we look up at the sky we will see a new brilliant star shining down on her family accompanied by two of the most beautiful angels. Left to cherish Connie's memory are her sister June Selinger; brothers Jack Pruden, Ken Pruden, George Pruden, and sister-in-law Deanna Loshny. She is also survived by her daughters Darlene Broomfield (George), Sharon LaVallee, Debbie Cooper (Kevin); son Jim Wright, and son-in-law Jim Cook. Mom was also adored by her 14 grandchildren, 20 great-grandchildren as well as two great-great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by her husband Merrill Wright; two daughters gone too soon', Joan Wright and Cindy Cook. Mom's life was devoted to her family and Love, Fun and Laughter would best describe our family. How blessed were we to enjoy family holidays in Vancouver, Hawaii, Huatulco, Cuba and Dominican Republic. Mom enjoyed golf, painting, pottery, traveling and shopping with her daughters. In compliance with Connie's wishes, there will not be a Funeral Service. Thank you to all the wonderful staff at Bethel Care Home in Gimli, MB where Mom lived for nearly four years. Your kindness and compassion for our mother will never be forgotten. Also, for the last couple of months at Concordia Place, a big heartfelt thank-you to you all. Mom's presence of unconditional love and her great spirit will truly be missed by us all. When tomorrow starts without you there will be many tears but two angels called your name, took your hand and said your place was ready in heaven and that you had to leave behind all those who you dearly loved. Our hearts will hold your love and memory until we meet again. No flowers please. Wojcik's Funeral Chapel & Crematorium, 1020 Main Street, Winnipeg, 204-586-8668, wojciksfuneralchapel.com Words will never describe the loss in our family. Mom, you will always be loved "'beyond the universe'".

To Darlene, Sharon, Debbie, James and all the huge loving family Connie loved so much, our deepest sympathy. Your mom was so proud of you all, and simply loved being surrounded by her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She was such a special lady, an incredibly bright shining star, and we will all miss her so much. But wherever she is, one thing I know for sure: she’s laughing, being her always delightful self, and finally out of pain. I like to think that when someone passes away, they don't really leave us. Their love leaves an indelible imprint in our memories. And we find comfort in knowing that our lives have been enriched by having shared their love. They'll be with us always; we may not see them, but they are still there beside us. Love you more Connie, to infinity and beyond......... - Posted by: bernice baranet and family () on: Jan 18, 2014

My sincerest condolences to all her family. We loved her so dearly and made the trip to Gimli when we visited almost every year. It was a treat to see her and spend time with one of my favourite aunts. She will be greatly missed. - Posted by: Traci Ballie (great-niece) on: Dec 16, 2013

To Connie's family, my heart goes out to you on the loss of your mother. I was so sad to hear of her passing, I had thought of her the other day and said to my self I must go and visit Connie, I miss her smile, and taking her back to her room and seeing all the beautiful pictures and things in her room, and maybe getting a candy from her. Seeing her smiling face when you came to visit, hearing the laughter. But as you say, she is with two angels now. And I have to think there is a table in heaven with Connie, Olga and Flora sitting at smiling down at all of us, helping us through our difficult times and waiting for us to join them in Heaven. Sending a big hug to all the family.... Lorna - Posted by: Lorna (friend) on: Dec 10, 2013
