JOHN R. DUECK John R. Dueck, 90 of Woodhaven Manor Steinbach (formerly of Blumenort) passed away on Saturday, November 30, 2013 at the Steinbach Bethesda Hospital. He is survived by four daughters: Marcella and Steve Parr, Marilyn Heinrichs, Cathy Reimer, Grace Dueck and Terry Klassen and three sons: John and Josephine Dueck, David and Sheila Mitchell-Dueck, and Conrad and Ruth Barber-Dueck. He is also survived by 13 grandchildren: Cory Reimer and Blair Burns, Julia and Chris Bewernick, Jane Heinrichs and Mark Rutherford, Rachel Reimer, Lisa and Robert Heinrichs, Janelle and Alex Minions, Jeff Klassen and Romain Chareyron, Simon Barber-Dueck, Emma Barber-Dueck, Joshua Mitchell-Dueck, Owen Barber-Dueck, Aaron Mitchell-Dueck, and Jenna Mitchell-Dueck. He is also survived by five great-grandchildren: Luke Heinrichs, Olivia Bewernick, Peter Heinrichs, Grace Bewernick and Jack Heinrichs. He is also survived by five brothers and two sisters. He was predeceased by his wife Tina Dueck (nee Janzen), two sons-in-law: Jim Heinrichs and Bruce Reimer and one grandson, Darren Reimer. Viewing will be Friday, December 6, 2013, at 7:00 pm with a devotional at 7:30 p.m. at Birchwood Funeral Chapel, Steinbach, Manitoba. A memorial service for John Dueck will be held Saturday, December 7, 2013, at 2:30 p.m. at Birchwood Funeral Chapel. Private interment will take place prior to the service at the Blumenort cemetery.
