Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryBRUCE CHARLES BARCLAY It is with great sadness our family announces the sudden passing of our father and grandfather, Bruce, on December 7, 2013 in his 77th year. Bruce is predeceased by his beloved Olga (Ollie) Muzik (August 2012), and his grandmother who raised him, his mother, aunt and uncle. Bruce was born in Ottawa and moved to Winnipeg in 1962. Bruce loved spending time with his family and especially his grandchildren. He shared his passion for sports with them. He enjoyed many sporting events including Moose and Jets games, Bomber games and Goldeye games. His grandchildren were often clothed in his team logos. Ultimately his passion and love for his grandchildren were highlighted by attending their games and events. He enjoyed darts and activities with friends and vacation time spent with family. He was father to John - Toronto, Tracy (Mike) - Toronto, David (Michelle) - Winnipeg and Charlene (Barton) - Edmonton. Loving grandfather (Gramps) to Juliana, Max, James, Cleo, and Martina; he will be fondly remembered. Bruce was proud of his children and their families. All family and friends remaining will cherish their memories of him. As per Dad's wishes, cremation has taken place. Relatives and friends are invited to call at the Cropo Funeral Chapel, 1442 Main St. on Tuesday, December 17, 2013 at 2:00 p.m. If desired, memorial donations in lieu of flowers to: The True North Foundation or Heart and Stroke Foundation of Manitoba, would be appreciated by the family. Our family would like to thank all those that have supported, comforted and reassured us during this time. Remembrance keeps him near, forever in our hearts. I just heard about the passing of Bruce. I first met him about ten years ago when we were both playing darts in the Sgts Mess dart league. He was great company, whether against us or with him on our team. He will be sorely missed by me and by the other players. He had an infectious laugh and a great wit. My sincere condolences to the family. - Posted by: Michael Hickey (Friend ) on: Jan 06, 2014

I worked with his son at the WFPS, and met Bruce at the Sgts Mess dart league. I always enjoyed his company and we had many a good time just sitting and talking. I didn't go back to darts this year and just heard about it after Xmas. This is a person that I truly will miss. My condolences to the family. - Posted by: Tim Deacon (Friend ) on: Dec 27, 2013

I was soooo saddened by the passing of Bruce. We were on the same dart team at the legion. He was at our house December 7th before leaving for Edmonton. I had made him a Jets tie clip. He stopped in to pick it up and wish us a Merry Christmas. We joked around a lot. I was forever fixing his collar and doing up his buttons. I also went to clean his house every few weeks. We would chat and laugh. He had a smile that lit up the whole room. He loved his family, was always bragging about them. I took a picture of him before he left. I am sooooo sad today and will Truly miss his laugh and smile and playing crib with him. I pray for his family and love ones. - Posted by: Sharon and Willie (Good friends ) on: Dec 14, 2013

I was on Bruce's dart team when I first joined the St. James House league. Bruce had a great sense of humor, always ready for a joke. He had an ebullient personality which I shall miss. Rest peacefully my friend. - Posted by: Joe Brown (Friend through the St. James Dart Leaque at Legion 4.) on: Dec 14, 2013
