Alan and I became friends when we were boating. He was my secretary when I was Commodore of The Royal Manitoba Yacht Club and when he was Commodore I was his secretary = from then on we became very good friends - through ups and downs. Patti filled his life with joy and I was so happy for him. RIP my friend - Posted by: Marjorie Homenick (Friend) on: Dec 11, 2013

Alan's passing is a difficult one to fathom. We enjoyed many happy times together back in the 60's after Alan began in the grain trade at Northern Sales under Tammy London. My wife worked with Al at the time. My wife/myself were married same day Aug. 23/69 as Alan & Jeanette (his 1st wife). The memories always happy and fun-loving. His death so sad. Rest in peace Alan George & Sylvia - Posted by: George Powell (Olde friend) on: Dec 10, 2013
