ELMER MARTENS Elmer Martens, 75, of Steinbach, Manitoba, passed away Sunday, December 8, 2013 at the Ste. Anne Hospital. He is survived by his wife of 50 years, Frieda (nee Kornelsen), two daughters, two sons, one daughter-in-law and their families. He was predeceased by one son in 2010. The funeral service will be held on Thursday, December 12, 2013 at 1:00 p.m. at the Steinbach CMC, 479 Hanover Street, Steinbach, Manitoba. Viewing at the church prior to the service. Interment to follow at Mitchell Gospel Church Cemetery, Mitchell, Manitoba. Donations in memory of Elmer may be made to "South East Helping Hands" or "Soups On" available at the church. To Tona Frieda and all of your kids their spouses and your grand kids; I am sending my condolences and big hugs to u all!! I will always remember uncle Elmer: a good family man who enjoyed some good chuckling now and then!! LOYAL and dedicated to his family always!!! U must be so proud!! We, my family included, always spoke very highly of uncle Elmer and Tonta Frieda!!
