Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryALICE UNRAU (nee POLISCHUK) With deep sadness we announce the passing of Alice on December 3, 2013, aged 89, at Peterborough Regional Hospital after a sudden illness. Beloved wife of the late Diedrich (Dick) and loving mother of Les (Linda), Lisa Duffy (Rocklin) and Karen Earl (Richard). Cherished Nana to grandchildren Alicia and Thom (Julia Colley). Special Nana to her great-granddaughters, Cedar Grace, Sorrel Rose and Alena Jade and great-grandson Wyatt Krash. Dear sister of Paul Polischuk (Claudia) and the late Anne Kroeker (John). Alice will be sadly missed by her many nieces, nephews and surviving sisters-in-law, as well as the many friends and acquaintances whose lives she touched. Visitation will be held Saturday, December 14 at 1:00 p.m. at Chapel Lawn Funeral Home, 4000 Portage Ave., Winnipeg. Celebration of life service is at 2:00 p.m. and interment will follow. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Multiple Sclerosis Society, The Heart and Stroke Foundation, or VillageVineyard Church located at 519 Osborne St., Winnipeg, Manitoba R3L 2A9.
