Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or Memory(MARIE) ANTOINETTE PERREAULT (née DUMAINE) Paisiblement, entourée de sa famille, Antoinette est décédée à l'âge de 99 ans, le lundi 9 décembre 2013 au Foyer Valade (Actionmarguerite - Valade). Antoinette, fille d'Arthur et Anna Dumaine (née Bourbonnière) est née le 24 mars, 1914, à Ste. Geneviève. Le 18 novembre 1939, Antoinette épousa Adélard Perreault de Richer et ils s'établirent à Saint-Boniface. L'union produisit 12 enfants, et dura jusqu'à la mort d'Adélard en 1999 - presque 60 ans. De la maison, maman vendait des produits Avon, avait un petit commerce de décoration de gâteaux, et était couturière dépareillée. Maman se portait bénévole à travailler aux parties de bingo durant d'innombrables heures dans plusieurs clubs à Saint Boniface et ailleurs. A leur retraite, Maman et Papa ont beaucoup joui de leurs voyages avec parents et amis. Maman était fière de ses enfants, petits-enfants, arrière- et arrière-arrière-petits-enfants, et de leurs succès. Elle fut précédée par ses parents, ses frères Jean-Marie, Georges, Gédéon (Jimmy) et Gérard; ses soeurs Marie-Anne Legal, Emma Girard, et Victoria Duguay; sa fille Rita Wenzoski, et ses gendres Claude Lansard et Casey Wenzoski. Elle laisse dans le deuil ses enfants et petits-enfants: Alice (Gerry) Sawyer, Audrey, Nancy, Cathy; Irène Lansard (Clément Charrière), Suzanne, Pierre, Lise; Gérard (Sofi), Debbie, Paul, Helen; Denis (Cindy), Mike, Sherry, Diana, Sarah; Lionel (Cécile), Maurice, Mirielle, Jeanne, Julie; René (Diane Sabourin), Joël, Christiane; Alain (Diane), Andrée, Arthur; Roland, Alisa, Porsha; Rose-Marie (Neil) Buskell, Bill, Rick; Louise (Raymond) Wyant, Janelle et Chaz Beaudette; Claudette Perreault (Dave Furutani), Dale, Derek; 28 arrière-petits-enfants et trois arrière-arrière-petits-enfants; et plusieurs nièces, neveux et cousin(e)s. La famille tient à remercier tout le personnel infirmier, médical et soignant du Foyer Valade (Actionmarguerite - Valade) qui a si bien assuré ses soins et son bien-être. Au lieu de fleurs, les gens intéressés peuvent faire un don à la mémoire d'Antoinette Perreault à La Fondation Actionmarguerite ou à la Société Alzheimer Manitoba. Les prières pour Antoinette auront lieu à 9h30 le jeudi 12 décembre, à l'Eglise du Précieux-Sang, 200 rue Kenny suivies des funérailles présidées par l'Abbé Léon Mubikayi à 10h00. L'inhumation aura lieu au Cimetière de St. Boniface, rue Archibald. Les Frères LeClaire (204) 775-2220 sont chargés des arrangements. (MARIE) ANTOINETTE PERREAULT (née DUMAINE) Peacefully, with her family at her side, on Monday, December 9, 2013, (Marie) Antoinette Perreault passed away at the age of 99 years. She was born March 24, 1914 in Ste. Geneviève, MB, to Arthur and Anna Dumaine (née Bourbonnière). She married Adélard Perreault of Richer on November 18, 1939 in Richer, a union that lasted nearly 60 years until Dad's passing in 1999. Mom and Dad raised their family of 12 primarily in St. Boniface. Working at home, she sold Avon products, had a cake decorating business, and worked as a seamstress. She gave generously of her time and volunteered countless hours working at bingo at various clubs. After retirement, Mom and Dad enjoyed travelling with family and friends. Mom was very proud of all her children, grandchildren and great- and great-great-grandchildren, and of their accomplishments. She was predeceased by her parents, brothers and sisters: Jean-Marie, Georges, Gédéon (Jimmy), and Gérard Dumaine; Marie-Anne Legal, Emma Girard, and Victoria Duguay; her daughter Rita Wenzoski, and sons-in-law Claude Lansard and Casey Wenzoski. Left to mourn her passing are her children and grandchildren: Alice (Gerry) Sawyer, Audrey, Nancy, Cathy; Irène Lansard (Clément Charrière), Suzanne, Pierre, Lise; Gérard (Sofi), Debbie, Paul, Helen; Denis (Cindy), Mike, Sherry, Diana, Sarah; Lionel (Cécile), Maurice, Mirielle, Jeanne, Julie; René (Diane Sabourin), Joël, Christiane; Alain (Diane), Andrée, Arthur; Roland, Alisa, Porsha; Rose-Marie (Neil) Buskell, Bill, Rick; Louise (Raymond) Wyant, Janelle and Chaz Beaudette; Claudette Perreault (Dave Furutani), Dale, Derek; 28 great-grandchildren, three great-great grandchildren; and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. The family wishes to extend its heartfelt thanks to the many health-care, medical and nursing staff at the Foyer Valade (Actionmarguerite - Valade) for the care and attention they showed Mom. Should friends so desire, donations in the memory of Antoinette Perreault may be made to the Actionmarguerite Foundation or the Alzheimer Society of Manitoba. Prayers for Antoinette will be held at 9:30 a.m. Thursday, December 12th at Eglise Précieux Sang, 200 Kenny St. followed by Mass of the Christian Burial at 10:00 a.m., with Abbé Léon Mubikayi officiating. This couple were like parents to Moe and I. As newly weds, they made sure we were alright and helped out whenever needed. What a lovely couple. So sorry to hear of Antoiinette's passing.
