Betty and I worked together while she was teaching at Morden Collegiate and also curled together on a faculty team. Betty was very friendly and welcoming to new staff and put in a lot of extra time helping students to be successful in her classes. She was a very caring person who left teaching to continue giving to a wider group of people who needed her help. - Posted by: Elaine Spearman (Former Co-worker) on: Dec 18, 2013

Ms. Kasdorf was my Home Ec teacher in the mid 80's in Morden. I loved her classes because she often had stories of world travels and we learned to cook using very precise measurements. She was the first person I met that wore a toe ring; I found that very intriguing. We will meet again someday! - Posted by: Kathleen Froese () on: Dec 17, 2013

Having worked with Betty as part of the CFGB network, I’ve great respect for her, her life, her person, and her work. She left a wonderful legacy of service for the poor over many years. I’m very grateful to have known Betty, as she has enriched my life as well. She will be missed. - Posted by: Bruce Syvret () on: Dec 16, 2013

Betty was a dear friend of mine during her time working with MCC in Laos. We shared many good times filled with conversations, shopping in Thailand, eating Indian food, and trying to make sense of this culture we were living in. I was glad we could reconnect briefly in 2011 during a visit. She is remembered and missed from her family in Laos. - Posted by: Kris (Friend) on: Dec 16, 2013
