Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryLEA MOLLISH (nee LOISELLE) December 08, 1914 !December 12, 2013 Peacefully on December 12, 2013, Lea passed away at Fred Douglas Lodge, 1275 Burrows Ave., Winnipeg, at the age of 99. She was predeceased by her daughter, Joanne in 2006, and her husband Jack (John) in 2008. She will be remembered by her sister Stella of Montreal, PQ, sister-in-law Lorette of Winnipeg, special friends Flavia, Doris, Verna and others of the Catholic Women's League of St. Edward's Church as well as nieces, nephews and relatives. Lea was born in Letellier, MB. She moved to Winnipeg and worked as a seamstress and in 1946 married Jack. She was a lady of great faith; a lifelong member of St. Edward's Catholic Church and along with Joanne and Jack were actively involved in the church activities. They also spent many happy summers at the cottage at Winnipeg Beach. She loved to knit, crochet, sew, quilt and do needlepoint, having received many awards for her beautiful quilting and needlework. She also enjoyed having visits and tea with her lady friends from the church. Thank you to the wonderful nursing and support staff at Fred Douglas Lodge for their professionalism and compassion. Lea was fortunate to have such good care from all her caregivers. Funeral Service will be held on Wednesday, December 18, 2013 at 2:00 pm at Glen Eden Funeral Home, 4477 Main Street with Msgr. Louis McCloskey officiating. Interment to follow at Glen Eden Memorial Gardens. Glen Eden Funeral Home & Cemetery 204-338-7111
