KATHLEEN MAE SWAFFER June 20, 1919 - December 13, 2013 On December 13 at The Convalescent Home of Winnipeg, Kathleen (Kae) passed away at the age of 94. Predeceased by her beloved husband Les in 2001, she is survived by her son Gary, his wife Joan, her grandchildren Jill (Chad) and Mark, and of special joy to her, her great-grandchildren Peyton, Emery and Lyndon. Kathleen was a long time member of Rossmere Golf and Country Club. She will be remembered for her love of gardening and her talent for wood carving, needle point and knitting. The family is very grateful for the exceptional love and care that surrounded her at the "Home". In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Winnipeg Humane Society. Cremation has taken place. A memorial service will be held on Thursday, December 19, 2013 at 2:00 p.m. at Glen Eden Funeral Home. Glen Eden Funeral Home & Cemetery 338-7111
