Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryJACQUELINE (JACKIE) ROSS 1948 - 2013 It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Jackie on Saturday, December 14, 2013, at the Health Sciences Centre M.I.C.U. Jackie was predeceased by her father Alexander in 2004, her mother Thérèse (nee Mulaire) in 2006, and her brother-in-law Randall Lee Meyer in 1998. She leaves to cherish her memory, daughters Pamela Ross and Sarah (Mike) Dittmer, and her granddaughter Hannah. She also leaves her sisters Marcelle (Maurice) LeBlanc and Gabrielle (Steve) Mortlock, and numerous nieces, nephews, other extended family and friends. Thank you to the staff on 6A Medicine, ER and M.I.C.U. at St. Boniface General Hospital and to the home care staff at Fred Tipping Place. A heartfelt thank you to nurse Tera and Dr. Thomas Jacobs at the Health Sciences Centre M.I.C.U. for their exceptional compassion and kindness to Jackie and her family. We would also like to thank the staff at The Convalescent Home of Winnipeg. Although Jackie was only there a short time she was welcomed with open arms by the staff and her friend Pam. Cremation has taken place. Funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, December 19 at Desjardins Funeral Chapel, 357 Des Meurons Street. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Manitoba Lung Association, 629 McDermot Avenue, Winnipeg, MB R3A 1P6, or to the Siloam Mission, 300 Princess Street, Winnipeg, MB R3B 1M3.
