CATHERINE ALICE WHITESIDE On what would have been her only daughter's 51st birthday, Friday, December 13, 2013, Cathy passed away peacefully at the Selkirk District General Hospital, at the age of 79. She will be lovingly remembered by her sons, Cecil (Conny) Anderson, Chris (Nancy) Anderson, and Shawn Morrison; grandchildren Samantha, Bill, Greg, and Kristyn Anderson; Kara, Cole, Chris, and Katie Morrison; and great-grandchildren Theo and Rayne-Lee Anderson. She will also be remembered by her sister Miriam Kalb, sister-in-law Donna Whiteside, son-in-law David Calvez, and many nieces, nephews and friends. Cathy was predeceased by her parents James and Isabella Whiteside, her brother David, sister Roberta, and recently by her daughter Claudia Calvez. The family would like to thank the doctors and nurses in Emergency and Palliative Care at the Selkirk District General Hospital for their kindness and compassionate care in Mom's last days. Cremation has taken place, and after a private family service, to honour her last request, Mom's ashes will be scattered in her beloved Rocky Mountains.
