While she served her Country, she saw many places and always had fun gifts for her nieces and nephews. She also met our Uncle Dick whilst both serving in Turkey. She for Canada, he for the USA. Uncle Dick sadly passed away in 1968, after his second tour of Vietnam. I always looked forward to the great occasions when both were visiting the family.
