STANLEY GILEWICH It is with heavy hearts that we announce the peaceful passing of Stanley Gilewich on December 20, 2013. He was an active spirit. A man full of generosity, abundant knowledge and never ending experience. His curious mind led him in many directions. He knew many languages and enjoyed learning. He was a Jack of all trades, fixing what wasn't broken yet. He enjoyed fishing, hand guns and talking on ham radios (VE4SG). He loved cookies and telling stories to anyone and everyone. He is predeceased by his wife Helena, daughter Leona, his parents Leon and Tekla, his siblings Mary, Walter and Joe, and son-in-law Dennis. He is survived by his sons Randy (Lorna), Claude, and his daughter Linda. He will be remembered by his grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and missed by all who knew him. In lieu of flowers, please make donations to CancerCare Manitoba. A come and go Gathering of Friends will take place on Sunday, December 29, 2013 from 1:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. at his daughter Linda's residence (contact Chapel Lawn for address).
