Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryPAUL DUMOND December 12, 1957 - December 24, 2013 It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Paul Dumond on December 24, 2013, at the St. Boniface Hospital with his family by his side, after suffering a massive heart attack. Paul will be lovingly remembered and forever missed by his wife Karen; sons Peter (Kailee) and Michael (Holly); mother Jean; sisters Doreen (Murray), Diane, Linda, Francis (Dan); brother Randy (Sandy), brother-in-law Bob; sister-in-law Donna (Mike); brother-in-law Nick; as well as many nieces and nephews. Paul was predeceased by his father Frank, sister Sheila, and father-in-law Peter. He was born in Brockville, Ontario. At 19 years of age, Paul moved to Winnipeg where he met the love of his life Karen, and was happily married for 35 years. Together they were blessed with two sons and a wonderful life together. He was an extremely proud father and husband. He was passionate about everything that his children were involved in. Paul volunteered for many years in the local community through coaching and organizing various sporting programs. There was never a project too big or small that Paul wouldn't take on. He was always willing to lend a helping hand to anyone in need. Paul was known by family and friends for his strong work ethic. He was proud to have a job that he enjoyed, for many years, at Mulder Construction. A celebration of Paul's life will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Tuesday, December 31, 2013 at Klassen Funeral Home. To Karen, Peter, Michael and the Dumond family, my thoughts are with you all at this very sad time. Paul and I shared fond memories from grade school through high school. Having a friend growing up in Brockville in the 60’s and 70’s. He was a great guy, with a heart of gold. Always fun to be with. I extend my deepest condolences on the death of Paul.
