Mom will be lovingly remembered by her family and friends. Irma leaves to mourn, her son in Winnipeg - Alexander, his wife - Janis, her granddaughter Nicole and her extended family Dustin Leclerc, Morgan and Tessa, and Kayla Carr (Bill) of St. Thomas, Ontario / her son in Winnipeg - Harry and his wife Susan / her daughter in Melbourne, Australia - Rosemarie Roberts and her husband Ian / her grandson in Sydney, Australia - Glyn Roberts, his wife Ming and great-grandson Thomas / her granddaughter in Melbourne, Australia - Dr. Rachael Roberts. Mom was predeceased by her husband Alexander Necsefor (1984) and her daughter Rita Bernd (2006). Irma was born in Germany on October 3, 1931 and immigrated to Canada in 1945. Mom worked very hard her whole life and retired after 25 years as a nurse's aide from Holy Family Nursing Home in 1996. Mom was a very talented seamstress and also a very good cook / chef. If Mom cooked it...we ate it because it was delicious. Mom was a very gentle, private person and enjoyed her quiet time drinking tea in her backyard on Trent Avenue or sitting under her apple trees with her family and her dearly loved pets, Titus, Beethoven and Mario. In keeping with Mom's wishes, cremation has taken place and a private family interment at Green Acres Cemetery will take place at a later date. Flowers are gratefully declined and donations can be made to any charity of choice. The Necsefor family have been a big part of my education years. I remember that Rosemarie was the 1st person that I met in Grade 1 and they lived at the corner house on Ross about a half block away from my house and each and every morning, I would trudge over there and they lived in the top of the house, so I had to take my tiny, short legs up the stairs where I would perch until Rosemarie and Rita were ready for school. Mrs. Necsefor would be scurrying back and forth trying to get the 4 kids ready and also Mr. Necsefor and would ALWAYS GIVE ME A PIECE OF TOAST AND JAM AND SAY GOOD MORNING AND PAT ME ON THE HEAD. She wore the most beautiful Chenille housecoat that was very long and brushed along the floor. From that moment, I knew one day I would have to have a Chenille Housecoat, BUT ALAS, I NEVER DID GET ONE. I have no idea why it has taken so long to put this story in here as I was quite upset when I saw she had been called home. They treated me like part of the family and Mr. Necsefor worked at the corner store up by the tracks just west of the house and was always giving me treats=candies, suckers, etc to go to school with and was ever so kind to me. I did talk to Rosemarie once back a number of years as she called me on my birthday, and have not been able to get a hold of her again and somehow I must have misplaced her email address and phone number. TO THE REMAINING NECSEFORS, ROSEMARIE, ALEX AND HARRY, I HOPE YOU ARE ALL DOING WELL AND HAVING A GOOD LIFE. I SAW A NUMBER OF YEARS BACK THAT RITA PASSED ON AND I HAD SEEN HER A FEW TIMES AFTER WE GOT OUT OF SCHOOL AND SHE SURE WAS FUN TO SPEND AN EVENING WITH. SO ALL IN ALL, I STILL HAVE SUCH WONDERFUL MEMORIES OF THIS WONDERFUL, LOVING, CARING FAMILY WHO TREATED ME LIKE A PRINCESS. TAKE CARE. LOVE ALWAYS.
