  • Velma was a part of my life for so many years. I will miss her even though we seldom saw each other in the past few years. I will always remember that she treated me with respect these past few years when we did see each other and I will always remember her sending Merry Christmas wishes to me via my daughter, Cher just days before her passing. I will always remember the fast rides when she was driving from Deepwater to Kansas City in our younger days. She loved to drive fast. I know she is at peace now with no worries. My sympathy goes to all of her family. - Posted by: Sharon Smith (Ex daughter-in-law) on: Dec 30, 2013

  • Mom you were one of the strongest women I know. My heart is so heavy, and missing you, we keep expecting you to walk through the door for a visit like you always did, several times a day. I know in time my heart will not be so heavy and we all go through our own grieving process. Forever loved, never forgotten and always in our hearts. You are so dearly missed, and we feel your love surrounding us all. - Posted by: Sue (Daughter (in law)) on: Dec 29, 2013
