Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryKATHERINE PEARL GREEN (nee JACKETT) December 29, 1924 - December 29, 2013 It is with profound sadness that we announce the death of our beloved mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. Pearl was predeceased by her loving husband Frank in July 2005, her parents and all of her siblings. She leaves her four daughters Judy (Bill), Joanne (Mel), Linda (Dave), Terri (Barry), 11 grandchildren, and 16 great-grandchildren to cherish her memory. Pearl will be fondly remembered for her sense of humour, her compassion and understanding, and her generosity and commitment to her family. Her passions in life were dancing, sewing, and caring for those she loved. Special thanks to Mom's wonderful caregivers Kim, Roza, and Ursula for their unwavering love and commitment. Mom's life was enriched by many wonderful, caring people at Kildonan House, Irene Baron, and River East Personal Care Home. Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Saturday, January 4, 2014 at 9:30 a.m., presided by Brother Joseph Lourdusamy at Holy Redeemer Catholic Church, 264 Donwood Drive, North Kildonan. Reception will follow. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to River East Personal Care Home - Critter Club, 1375 Molson St., Winnipeg Manitoba, R2K 4K8. Terri, Please accept my condolences on the passing of your mom. All the things you did for her, and the loving way in which you spoke of your mom, was a beautiful reflection of how much you loved her and cared for her. I hope you can take comfort in knowing that. If all children cared for their elderly parents the way you did, the world would be a much better place! - Posted by: Lynne Barske (Friend) on: Jan 02, 2014
