• Susan & Jan, Please accept my condolences on the deaths of your parents, Ole in 2000 and Karen in 2013. Both were very good friends to my Grandmother also a Dane and my parents as well. When I lived in Winnipeg, I would visit your parents and always enjoyed the Danish culture with them, including strong coffee at any time of the day! My Grandmother died many years before them and for me, your parents were a connection to our origins in Denmark. • Mom today was the day of your Memorial. I know you would have been so pleased. We all dressed up for you which I know would have made you happy. It was so nice to see some of your long time friends as well as friends of Jan and I. Sean, who spoke of you and your life did a wonderful job. It was very moving. Your picture was beautiful and so were the flowers. The food and coffee would have been to your liking. All in all we could not have had a more fitting afternoon. We, the family send you our love.
