I first met Sharon in 1993 when I started at Deer Lodge. I remember how she always had a smile and a pleasant few words to exchange while I picked up charts in HIS. Although 40 plus years have passed I remember with much fondness Sharon as a quiet yet very caring young girl. She was a dream student for a beginning teacher and came from a supportive, caring family. I had the good fortune to teach Brian as well. Those were wonderful years for me thanks to students like Sharon and her family. My thoughts and prayers are with her family. - Posted by: Lorne Lisik (Teacher from Lincoln School) on: Jan 14, 2014

I'm still shocked over Sharon's passing. I remember her as a good person with a really bright smile. I've gotten to know her with our countless conversations since I began work at Deer Lodge in 2009. I always walk by her desk when I came to pick up my charts in Health Records. She would also greet me before/after taking her blood pressure right by my desk if I was there. It's going to take some getting used to not being able to see her or talk to her. My sincere condolences to her family. - Posted by: Joan McKinley (Co-worker/colleague) on: Jan 14, 2014

Sharon, I will remember all the lunch and coffee times we had on some of my volunteer days at the Deer Lodge. I am so glad we were able to renew our friendship which started at singles at C.T. and remember your help at my wedding reception. I pulled out from the cupboard the mug you gave me with my name on it and a scripture verse. You said it seemed to be made just for me. Now whenever I use it, it will bring back many fond memories. Sincere condolences from our family to yours and especially to Brian. Meet you at the Gates in Glory. - Posted by: Faith Johnson (friend) on: Jan 13, 2014

Sharon, Rest In Peace. You were a good friend and co-worker. I miss you walking in that Portage entrance of Deer Lodge every morning with your muffin and coffee. And covering my breaks. And me going to your desk and saying I'm ready for coffee break and you saying give me a couple seconds. You will be in my memory every day, remembering all the good times. I still can't believe you're gone. Your Friend Susan - Posted by: Susan Chiarellia (Friend) on: Jan 13, 2014
