She grew up in the North End of Winnipeg with her cousins and family. Trish enjoyed going for drives with her cousin Flea and many friends. Her interests also included Hip Hop music, writing poems, writing songs, Aboriginal culture and tattoos. Trish's favourite time was the summer as she spent most of her time riding bikes or just walking for hours with her cousins and friends. R.I.P. Patricia A. Salt...happiest moment of my life was finding you after your mother had taken you away from me....Saddest moment of my life is only having 10 years of conversation and losing you once again ...already missing your voice and hearing the simple little word "Dad"....will always have pictures of you and your children that I will hold close to me till I join you...save a seat for me my dear on top of the highest mountain over looking the Okanagan where your life and mine started... - Posted by: Jeff Salt (Father) on: Dec 06, 2014

I met Trish through my daughter Melodie. We both lived in the same apt complex on Inkster. When I first met Trish she was a young kid who loved to come and visit my cats and ferret. My daughter was a bonus....lol. I grew to love Trish like she was my own. I remember the day I had a bat on my patio....I called to Trish and Mel to come check out what was on my balcony. Trish got all excited cause she saw a baby bat. It was her that took it out from under the door frame and let it free. There are so many things that I wish I could have said to you over the years so you knew how important you were to both Mel and I. I will ALWAYS HAVE U IN MY HEART SWEETY. I love you and may you be snuggling with my Zoe and other furries that I have lost along the way. RIP BEAUTIFUL GIRLIE. I miss u so much already...muah. - Posted by: Michelle Cutting (I thought of you as my own daughter) on: Jan 11, 2014
