  • My sympathy to all the family and friends mourning this wonderful person. I was a cashier working at Social Services & the cashiers & police were joined. I just want to share a very special memory for me regarding your parents. My daughter was young at the time and Cabbage Patches were the craze. Peter knew I was desperately looking for one. He offered to contact his wife working at Eaton's to keep an eye out for one. A couple of days later she called advising him she had one and lo and behold it was a bald headed one exactly what my daughter had put on her Christmas list. He made it possible for her to be so happy that Christmas Morning. I wanted to share this moment with you as a moment of his kindness to others. My love and prayers are with you. Thank You Rose Pelland - Posted by: Rose Pelland (City of Winnipeg Employee from Social Services) on: Jan 15, 2014

  • Our deepest sympathy on the loss of your father Peter. We lived in the area and went to the same church, and we thought the world of your parents. Your dad was a funny man and shared a lot of stories of his working days. May he rest in peace and be reconnected to his loved one who went before him. Our thoughts and prayers are with the family during this difficult time. - Posted by: Donna Seredycz/John Pawlychyn (friend) on: Jan 15, 2014
