MARIA ZANELLA (ZOFFO) February 29, 1920 - January 10, 2014 It is with sadness that we announce the passing of Maria Zanella at St. Boniface Hospital after a short illness. She was predeceased by her husband Arduino in 1996. Maria is survived by her daughter Helen, son Sergio, grandchildren, Amanda, Christina, Christopher, and Micheal, as well as great-grandchild, Emily. Maria was born on February 29, 1920 in Amaro, Italy and moved to Thunder Bay, ON in 1958, she then moved to Winnipeg in 1991. We all have many great memories that will live in our hearts forever. We would like to thank the staff at the St. Boniface Hospital, 6th Floor, 6E, for the exceptional care and compassion they showed for our mom. As per Maria's wishes cremation has taken place and a private service will be held. Donations may go out to the Winnipeg Humane Society, 45 Hurst Way, Winnipeg, Manitoba, R3T 0R3.
