Condolences & Memories (3 entries)

  • So sorry to get the news. I will miss our chats on dogs, travel and life. I know he fully appreciated his life and the gifts in it. - Posted by: sally Brodrick () on: Jan 22, 2014

  • How very very sad I am that Merv is gone. Shelley was my good friend and partner in crime dating back to our first day of kindergarten. Over the last 50 years our parents also became such good friends. My parents would enjoy a dip in their pool on hot summer days and my mom loved to have them for dinner as Merv always seemed to enjoy her cooking. Although Shelley and I don't see each other very often, our trips home to Winnipeg always included a good visit with each other's parents. I always thought Merv had such an interesting career as he sometimes travelled to film sports events for CBC. But he was a very humble person and, rather than talk about himself, he was always interested in what was happening in my life - even when I was very young. I will miss him and am so sorry I can't be there on Wednesday to say goodbye. Shelley and Inez, my thoughts are with you. Susan - Posted by: Susan Tureski Hanson (Family Friend) on: Jan 20, 2014
