Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryDORIS MARIE TETREAULT (nee GAGNE) September 23, 1935 - January 15, 2014 Peacefully on Wednesday, January 15, 2014, Doris passed away at the age of 78 years, after a brief and courageous battle with cancer. Doris was a devoted wife to her beloved Paul; they cherished their retirement years together at Lee River and their winters in Texas. Doris was an extremely kind and caring person. She was devoted to her children and grandchildren. She loved her family dearly and was always willing to lend a helping hand or a listening ear. Her grandchildren were her pride and joy and always her top priority. She always took pride in making their Lee River home a welcome haven for dear family and friends. With much love and fond memories, she will be remembered by her son Gilles (Betty) and grandchildren Brittnie and Justin from Balmertown, ON; daughter Gisele Wilson (Bruce) from Pinawa, MB and granddaughter Nicole Wilson and Devin Springer from Winnipeg. Doris also leaves to mourn, several brothers and sisters: Renee Jeanson, Laurette Gagne (Norbert), François Gagné (Joyce), Gilbert Gagné (Anita), Hervé Gagné (Noella), Etienne Gagné (Arlene), Luc Tetrault, Lucie Tetrault (Roger), her brothers and sisters-in-law: Jeanne Mousseau, Irma Tetreault, Oril (Fleurette), Rachelle Hausauer, Claude (Vicki) Tetreault and Yvon (Robin) Tetreault, numerous nieces and nephews, and good friends. Doris was predeceased by her husband Paul, grandson Jason Wilson, parents, Alphonse and Malvina Gagné, parents-in-law Olivier and Marie Louise Tetreault, sister Claire Tetrault, and in-laws: Helene Gagné, Herve Catellier, Aimé Jeanson, Irene and Joe Wolkowski, Georgette Tetreault, Jean and Flore Tetreault, Charlotte Tetreault, John Hausauer, Joe Mousseau, Clairette and Roland Trudeau, Louise and Olivier Gagné, Lucien and Rose Tetreault, Olive and Joe Ferland. The family would like to thank the wonderful staff at the Pinawa Hospital for their care and compassion given to Mom. A Funeral Service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Sunday, January 19, 2014 at Desjardins Funeral Chapel, 357 Des Meurons Street. A private family interment will take place at a later date. My sincerest sympathies to the Tetreault family. I had the pleasure of working with Doris for many years, and she was one of the kindest, and happiest ladies I have ever met. Her laughter could be heard on a daily basis and she could always find the good in any situation. One great memory of Doris is at Lee River one afternoon. Doris and Paul were leaving in their boat from Bruce and Gisele's and we gave her a "three-moon" salute!!! We could hear Doris laugh all the way across the lake until she was at her cabin. Her laugh was so contagious!
