We wish to send our condolences to the family. We are thinking of you all at this time and trust God to be your comfort and peace as you have laid Aunt Gertrude to rest. We will miss her but so glad she is now pain free and singing hymns with my mom! Love from our family to you all. - Posted by: Wes & Elaine McCombe (Niece) on: Jan 24, 2014

Our condolences to Bev & her family. Your Mom had my name as a prayer sister at Morrow Gospel Church many years ago. Although I have not seen you in many years Bev, I am sorry I won't be able to attend the service tomorrow due to health problems. My thoughts & prayers are with you at this time & I know that someday we will see your parents when we all get to Heaven. Give me a call sometime when you have the chance. God Bless you all. - Posted by: Margaret Martin (Friend) on: Jan 22, 2014

Had so hoped to attend Aunt Gertie's funeral today, but unfortunately I came down with the stomach flu. So sorry I could not be there. I have so many memories of Aunt Gertie and her great big smile. She always had such a genuine interest in each of us. She will no doubt be enjoying her heavenly home and happy to be reunited with so many who have gone on before. Sincere sympathies to each of you! - Posted by: Joyce Sawatzky (niece) on: Jan 22, 2014

We were good friends with Gertrude & Abe for many years. We had the pleasure of serving the Winnipeg Seniors Fellowship with them. They were dedicated to the cause, and we enjoyed our time together with them very much. Although Gertrude's last years were not what we would call good years, we praise the Lord that He has taken her home to be with Him. What a "Glad Reunion Day" With sympathy & thanksgiving.
