RITA MADELEINE DAVIDSON (nee RITCHOT) Peacefully in her sleep, on January 13, 2014, Rita Davidson passed away at the age of 86 to join her beloved husband, George, who predeceased her on January 4, 2010. Left to cherish Rita's memory, are her loving son Doug and daughter-in-law Jody. She will also be lovingly remembered by her dear sister Florence Sul, her lifelong friend Mary Reed, her grandchildren, numerous nieces and nephews, her brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law from out west and many close friends. A special thank you to Valerie and Rick, Brent and Michelle, for showing such kindness to their Aunt Rita over the years. Rita was predeceased by her husband of 40 years, George, her parents Louis and Lucie Ritchot and seven other siblings. Rita spent her last four years happily living in her own private suite at Cathedrale Manor. She was comfortable, content and well cared for. Rita enjoyed the friendship of staff and other residents at the Manor. Cremation has taken place and a private family interment will be held at a later date.
