APOLONIA ASEO MONTON Apolonia passed away peacefully at the age of 93 on January 10, 2014 with her children, grandchildren, nieces, nephews and husband of almost 70 years by her side. Apolonia is survived by her husband Pedro Monton, children Emelita Monton, Ester (Severino) Hembrador, Elpedia (Danny) San Martin, Emiliano (Reynita) Monton, and Enrico Monton. She will be lovingly remembered by her grandchildren Maan, Punky, Peko, Elda, Erin, Eldrine, Rose, Rhodalynn, Leanne, Ivy and Justin. Apolonia will also be remembered by her nieces and nephews and their children. Apolonia led a full and meaningful life - she fulfilled the role of wife, mother, grandmother, aunt and friend with an open heart and a loving spirit. She enjoyed the company of her very large extended family and always put the needs of others before her own. Apolonia will be dearly missed by all the people she has loved and looked after over the years. She touched many hearts throughout her lifetime. The family would like to thank Apolonia's extended family and friends for all their support, her doctors and nurses at Seven Oaks General Hospital, her homecare workers, as well as Father Dominic of St. Anthony of Padua Parish, and Msgr. Samson of St. Peters Church. Lamay (viewing) will take place at Glen Eden Funeral Home (4477 Main St.) on Thursday, January 23, and Friday, January 24 from 6:00 p.m. to 12:00 a.m. The funeral mass will take place on Saturday, January 25 at 1:00 p.m. at St. Peter's Church (748 Keewatin Street).
