Condolences & Memories (37 entries)

  • Dear Doreen, Jon & Crystal: Buddy was a great guy, and Beverley and I have fond memories of times spent together in Winnipeg and Toronto, notably with our stay at your place in 2010. Buddy's Mom was a Welham and we are thankful to our elders for bringing 2 branches of the family back together after 5 generations, enabling us to meet so many of his siblings, cousins, aunts and uncle. Buddy's grandfather Reg, late of Selkirk, must have been so proud of him. May he rest in peace. Our sincere sympathy to you all. - Posted by: Dave Welham (Fifth-cousin-twice-removed) on: Feb 25, 2014

  • Our deepest sympathy to "Buddy's" family and to all our Lloyd's. Great memories of growing up with you on Selkirk's McLean Avenue! Buddy was always such a great guy; you could always count on him and there was never a dull moment when he was around! As I read thru all of the great times that he had, with so many people, over the years; it brings to my mind, that he certainly left this earth loving his family, friends and co-workers, so much so, that no one will ever forget this great human being. We have lived away from Selkirk for many years, but I still remember many great times I spent with the Lloyd's! "Buddy rest in Peace!" - Posted by: Anna & Tom Tepleski (Friends to the Lloyd family) on: Jan 25, 2014

  • A very dear friend, we met many years ago, during our time in Manitoba. A favourite memory is our time in Mexico, with Buddy "CLOWNING" around, making us all laugh and smile, as no one else could do. Still look at the photo collage we made from that trip, and his poetry and artwork hang in our house. We miss you buddy, and our hearts are with Doreen & Jonathan & Family, and all the Lloyd family. Love you guys. - Posted by: Randy & Caroline Vandean (Friends) on: Jan 22, 2014
