LENORA ULMER (nee FAIRE) February 6, 1931 - January 20, 2014 Peacefully with family at her side, Lenora Ulmer, aged 82 years, started her journey to eternity with the Lord. Lenora passed away on January 20, 2014 at the Eriksdale Personal Care Home. Lenora was born at home in the Wood Mountain region, the middle child of seven. Mom married Ernest on February 19, 1949. Mom lived most of her life in Regina, SK, where together she and Dad raised five children. Eighteen years ago they decided to move to Ashern, Manitoba. With the passing of Dad in 2005, Mom then moved to Winnipeg and lived with a granddaughter for a number of years before deciding it was time to live in a care home. Mom chose to move to the Eriksdale Personal Care Home until her passing. Mom spent most of her life as a homemaker and worked for a short time in the Saskatchewan Hotel. Mom enjoyed knitting, crocheting and spending time with her grandchildren, great-grandchildren and her flowers. Lenora is survived by her two daughters Debbie (Bill) McTavish of Ashern, MB and Bonnie (Larry) Frazer of Saskatoon, SK; two sons Owen (Shirley) of Imperial, SK and Eldon (Karen) of Leduc, AB; seven grandchildren Cory, Cheryl, Tammy, James, Emmett, Amanda and Dale; eight great-grandchildren Laine, Harley, McKenzie, Hunter, Austin, Page, Kiana and Declan; three sisters Helen Forman, Jean Hampson and Georgina Brandt, along with a sister-in-law Florence Faire. Mom was predeceased by her husband Ernest of 56 years; one son Stanley Ulmer; her parents; two sisters Margaret and Alice; three great-grandchildren Tim, Cheryl and Joseph and one brother Bill. Cremation has taken place and a graveside memorial service and interment for the family will take place at a later date in the Memorial Gardens in Regina, SK.
