JUDITH JANE PENNER 1944 - 2014 With deep sadness we announce the peaceful passing of Judith with her family in prayer at St. Boniface Hospital on January 26. Judith went to be with her Lord and Saviour at the age of 69. She was predeceased by her husband Albert, parents Abram and Katherina (Fehr) Suderman, and sister Irene. She will be lovingly remembered by her six children, Paul and Elizabeth (Lodge), Alanda and Glenn (Penner), Douglas and Tricia (Swift), Brent and Hong (Trinh), Nadine, Nathan, and thirteen grandchildren. She is also survived by two brothers and three sisters. Judy was a long-time resident of Winnipeg, formerly of Kane, MB. She was a dedicated mother and grandmother who loved being involved in the lives of her family. She worked at Canada Post for 20 years enjoying her job and coworkers. She enjoyed life with much travelling and cherished the memories it provided. She was a woman of unfaltering faith, humility, humour, and devotion from which her family and friends experienced many blessings. The funeral service will be held at McIvor Avenue Mennonite Brethren Church, 200 McIvor Ave., Winnipeg at 10:30 a.m., January 31. Viewing will be January 30, 7:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Klassen Funeral Home, 1897 Henderson Hwy. and at the church prior to the service. Interment will be held at the Manitou Cemetery, Manitou, MB at 3:00 p.m. Donations may be made to The Gideons International PO Box 140800, Nashville, TN 37214. The family is grateful for the valiant efforts of the caring staff of St. Boniface Hospital CSICU and in particular Dr. Raabe. Judy was very thankful for the many friends and family that prayed and supported her during her recent trials. "We love you and will greatly miss you, but we will see you again in Heaven with our Saviour." Romans 5:1-3 Therefore being justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ: By whom also we have access by faith into this grace wherein we stand, and rejoice in hope of the glory of God. And not only so, but we glory in tribulations also. Arrangements entrusted to: KLASSEN FUNERAL HOME 1897 Henderson Hwy. (204) 338-0331 Send expressions of sympathy at www.klassenfuneralhome.com

  • We were greatly saddened & shocked to see that Judith had passed. I was visiting Arthur & stopped in to see her for a short chat just a few short days ago. I know she was not happy about her current condition, but she always seemed very upbeat when I spoke to her. I know she's in a much better place now; & she is whole & non-debilitated as she would want. I know she is Happy. We are thinking of you Nadine. Shalom Judith.....God speed. • May the peace that surpasses all human understanding, fill your heart and your mind at this time. Judy was a beautiful aunt, whose radiant smile and laugh will be remembered. So grateful that Aunt Judy is now "way beyond the blue." "Do Lord, oh do Lord," remember the family at this time. Love and peace, cousin Irene - Posted by: Irene Ann Smolik (Niece) on: Jan 29, 2014
