He is survived by his wife Estelle, stepchildren Heidi and Edward (Tanya), and their children Jared, Jocelyn and Jayden, and grandson Christopher. Brother Peter Smith (Angie) and their children Kyle and Chelsea; sister Audrey Smith (Bri) and sons Donald James and Robert. Predeceased by parents Marlise and Robert Smith and stepson John Kafka. Don was employed for many years by Dart Messenger working out of Norampac. We would like to thank Dart Messenger, Bloomstar Bouquet, the Costco staff and management for their love and support. A gathering to celebrate Don's life will take place at 2:00 p.m. on Monday, February 3, 2014 at Neil Bardal Funeral Centre, 3030 Notre Dame Avenue (across from Brookside Cemetery). Don was a 1st class professional and person. No matter what the challenge, he always tackled it with a positive attitude and a smile on his face. Even when he had to work late, he never complained.
