Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryTINA BREUL November 19, 1931 - February 3, 2014 Tina peacefully passed away on February 3, 2014 after a lengthy battle with Huntington's disease. She leaves behind two children: Peter and Irene from her husband's first marriage; two grandchildren Marta and Carey; four siblings and their spouses: Helen (Henry) Janzen, Peter (Kaethe) Enns, Frank (Irene) Enns, and Henry (Annelie) Enns. She was predeceased by her husband Peter Breul in 1997, four brothers (two in infancy), a twin sister at the age of eight years, and one sister-in-law. Tina was born November 19, 1931 in the village of Neuendorf, Ukraine to Franz and Maria Enns (Klassen). Her childhood was disrupted by war. In 1943, together with her family, she left Ukraine and joined the trek westward to Germany and eventually with the help of relatives immigrated to Canada in 1948. The family found a new home in the Oak Lake area where Tina worked as a housemaid on a number of farms. In 1950, she found employment at Blue Ribbon in Winnipeg where she worked for a number of years. She also worked intermittently in Steinbach and the last 20 years she worked as nurse's aide in the Women's Pavilion - Health Sciences Centre in Winnipeg. In February 1988, she married widower Peter Breul. She loved and accepted his children and later the grandchildren unreservedly. Tina was a person of faith in her Saviour and was baptized upon this confession in 1951. Throughout her life she demonstrated unselfish giving of herself to the church, the family and friends. The funeral service for Tina will be held on Friday, February 7, 2014 at 11:00 a.m. at Springfield Heights Mennonite Church, 570 Sharron Bay, Winnipeg, MB. Viewing will be at 10:00 a.m. at the church prior to the service. Interment will follow at Mennonite Memorial Gardens, Winnipeg, MB. Donations in memory of Tina may be made to M.C.C. or to Bethania Personal Care Home. A special thanks to the staff and caregivers for the loving care Tina received both at the Sharron Home on Magnus Avenue and Bethania Personal Care Home.
