SALLY PATRICIA KOHUT (ZULAK) It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved wife, mother and grandma, Sally Kohut, on February 2, 2014, at the age of 72 years, with family by her side. She will be lovingly remembered by her husband Nestor, of 53 years, daughter Sheri, son-in-law Frank and precious grandsons Jordan and Kyle. Sally is also survived by her sisters, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law as well as numerous nieces, nephews, extended family and friends. She was predeceased by her parents and her brother Morris. After a career at North American Lumber, she pursued other positions including Canada Safeway and Ludwick Catering where she took great pride in her work. A big part of Mom's life was her special grandsons Jordan and Kyle. She took every opportunity to spend time with her grandsons. Mom loved attending their activities and was their biggest fan. They loved visiting her, as they knew she would serve up their favourite meal. Mom loved to cook and entertain family and friends. You could always be assured of a great meal when you came to visit. She also enjoyed gardening and mall walking with friends. Mom also enjoyed reading and having a cup of tea in the evening. The family would like to thank the staff at St. Boniface Hospital E5 for their kind, caring and compassionate love and care of Mom. In keeping with her wishes, cremation has taken place. A memorial service will be held Wednesday, February 12, 2014 at 10:00 a.m. at Glen Eden Funeral Home, 4477 Main Street, West St. Paul, MB. A private family interment to follow. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to CancerCare Manitoba. Glen Eden Funeral Home & Cemetery 338-7111

Sally, we are going to miss you. You were a warm, thoughtful and loving soul. You always made the best desserts! Tasty, refreshing and made with lots of love. We appreciated being the recipients of the bounty from your garden over the years. But it was always your company that was the real treat. You were a loving wife and best friend to Nestor; and such a fantastic mom to Sheri and mother-in-law to Gooch. Jordan and Kyle will miss their amazing Grandma. Rest well, our sweet Sally, and look after Kea and Lucky until we meet again.
