Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryJEAN-MARC (JOHNNY) CHARTIER After a long and courageous battle with cancer, Jean-Marc passed away surrounded by his wife and four daughters, on Saturday, February 8, 2014 at the age of 73 years. Jean-Marc leaves to cherish his memory, his loving wife Colombe (nee Fafard), daughters Carmelle (Michael Clementson), Lisa (Jeffrey Derouin), Jacqueline (Robert Clark) and Cléo; grandchildren Mathieu, Sophie, Amélie and Maxence. He is also remembered by his 10 siblings Sr. Corinne Chartier, SNJM, Lionel (Ginette), Eugénie Fafard, Louise (Blair) Evanson, Monique (Larry) Tegart, Odette (Jacques) Fafard, Pauline (Guy) Deschambault, Guy (Maggie), Marie-Paule Lemoine and Camille (Karen), as well as brothers and sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. He was predeceased by his parents Réginald and Jeanne (nee Huberdeau), granddaughter Milène, brother-in-law Philippe Fafard and sister-in-law Viviane Pelletier. The family wishes to thank all the doctors, nurses and staff from the Russell Hospital and Cancer Care Unit, CancerCare Manitoba and the WRHA Palliative Care nurses for their care and compassion. A special thank you to the community of St. Lazare and to everyone who has shown their support to the family during these difficult times. Funeral Mass will be held on Thursday, February 13 at 11:00 a.m. at the St. Boniface Cathedral, 190 avenue de la Cathedrale. Interment of his cremated remains will take place at a later date in St. Lazare, MB. In lieu of flowers, donations in Jean-Marc's name may be made to Pancreatic Cancer Canada, 30 Concourse Gate, Unit 27, Ottawa, ON, K2E 7V7 or to Russell Health Centre, Russell, MB, R0J 1W0.
