DONNA LYNN STUSKI October 7, 1958 - February 10, 2014 It is with great sadness and heavy hearts that we announce the loss of Donna Lynn Stuski (nee Rubashewsky), on Monday, February 10, 2014. After a long battle with cancer, Donna peacefully passed away in her sleep at the Morris General Hospital surrounded by her family. Donna was predeceased by her father John; mother Ethel; and brother Edward. She is survived by her husband of 35 years, Michael; son Jason (Shauna); daughter Mandy (Mark); grandchildren Travis, Kevin and Andrew; brothers and sisters Bev (Ron), Craig, Susan (Blake), Glen (Carla), Sid (Roxanne), Cindy (Garry), Wendy, and Trevor (Rene); sister-in-law Debbie; as well as numerous nieces, nephews and friends. Born on October 7, 1958, Donna grew up in Lockport, MB, until 1979 when she married Mike and moved out to Glenlea, MB, where she and Mike started their family. She loved riding her horse Shelly and spent a lot of time camping with family and gardening. She always loved to entertain and was always the first one to host a party or holiday. For the past 19 years almost every spare moment was spent at the "cabana" at Miami Beach Campground where the door was always open and everyone always welcome. She surrounded herself by family and friends; and she adored her grandchildren, always spending as much time with them as she could. Donna will be lovingly remembered by all that knew her, she touched a lot of lives. A memorial service will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, February 15, at the Gilbart Funeral Chapel, Selkirk, MB. Her family would like to express their deep gratitude to Dr. A. Maksymiuk, Dr. N. Ahmed, Dr. C. Woelk, Dr. M. Fraser; CancerCare Health Sciences Centre and Boundary Trails, and the hospital and palliative care staff at the Morris General Hospital. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to CancerCare Manitoba or the Morris General Hospital Palliative Care. Gilbart Funeral Home, Selkirk, in care of arrangements. www.gilbartfuneralhome.com

I was Donna's classmate / friend at St Andrews school. Although I have not seen her since Mike swept her off her feet & she moved away, I was very saddened to hear of her passing. She would have known my daughters as they worked summers at Miami Beach during their high school days for our friends Deb & Gord Greene, previous owners of the campground. I will always remember her for her wonderful smile & how she never complained about anything or anyone. - Posted by: Barb Delaroque (Low) (Class Mate) on: Feb 17, 2014

We were blessed to have met the Stuski Clan and to become friends and neighbours at Miami Beach this past summer. Even while meeting Donna during her trying battle, you could sense a strong youthful spirit and the love for her family was apparent and something very special. We will now cherish the evenings we spent together at the beach laughing and playing cards. Our fall supper in September 2013 will always be remembered for Donna hosting a lovely potluck and watching her enjoy the company of her friends and family as we all gathered to eat a lovely meal to end out a wonderful season. She will be truly missed and we send our love to the Stuski's. - Posted by: Sam and Sheldon Benedictson (Friends) on: Feb 14, 2014
