JEANETTE (JANET) DOROTHY KELEMEN (nee SCHNEIDER) It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Janet on February 17, 2014 at the age of 67. After a brief and courageous battle with cancer, Mom has left us to join her beloved husband George and her father, Henry. Janet will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered by her children Bev (Morris), Wayne (Leslie), Joyce (Gord) and Rick (Sheryl); mother Verna, mother-in-law Julia, 10 grandchildren and their partners, two great-grandchildren, eight brothers and sisters and their families, as well as many extended family members and friends. The most important thing in Mom's life was family. She taught us how to love, laugh and enjoy life to the fullest. Mom was kind, caring, generous and her sense of humour was enjoyed by everyone. She was a tower of strength and wisdom and always had the best advice when it was needed. Mom was there for everyone, young and old alike, and we will always cherish the time we had with this angel on earth. Respecting Janet's wishes, cremation has taken place and a private family interment will take place at a later date. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to CancerCare Manitoba. For those who wish to sign the online Guest Book please visit our website. www.chapellawn.ca 885-9715

Janet's husband and my husband Glen Howarth played ball together for a number of years in the Crestview Men's Fastball League. Janet was always the life of the party, a bundle of fun and usually one of the leaders when a prank was played by the Baseball Wives. She will be missed and remembered with lots of love. - Posted by: Gisele Howarth (Friend) on: Feb 25, 2014

I am very sorry for the whole family for the loss of Janet. We always had a good visit whenever we met in a store in Winnipeg. - Posted by: Edith Thiessen (Demerais) (Friend and neighbour from childhood) on: Feb 24, 2014

So sorry to hear of Janet's passing. Janet was a wonderful and caring women. I played baseball with George for many years and Janet came to most games. She was always a lot of fun to be around and a great lady to joke with. She will be missed and fondly remembered. - Posted by: Mel Elliott (Friend) on: Feb 23, 2014
