EDWIN WALLACE SAGER Edwin Wallace Sager, 77, lifelong resident of St. Vital, Manitoba, died February 17, 2014. Ed, son of Jean Evelyn Forsyth and Bert Wallace Sager, devoted husband to Rose-Marie (Marie) Hamilton passed away at the Charleswood Care Centre on Roblin Boulevard. Ed was predeceased by his sons Alan and Kenny and his dear wife Marie, and is survived by his sister Beverley Jean Connery and brother Phillip Sager. Ed worked for many years at Canada Packers, but found his passion as a school custodian as he had a special rapport with children of all ages. Ed enjoyed hunting, camping and fishing with Kenny and his special pastime was caring for the property on which he lived. At one time Ed used to lead the Scout Troup from St. Germaine on canoe trips in the Whiteshell area. Ed will be missed by all who knew him. Services will be held at Charleswood Care Centre on Wednesday, March 5, 2014, at 2:00 p.m. A graveside service will also be held at Chapel Lawn Memorial Gardens on Wednesday, May 14, 2014, at 2:00 p.m. For those who wish to sign the online Guest Book please visit our website.
