LENORA DREFFS (nee FIEBELKORN) Lenora Dreffs passed away peacefully at home at the age of 84 years, on Monday, February 17, 2014. Lovingly remembered by son Kenneth Dreffs (Maureen Wickstrom) and daughter Elaine (Ralph) Feniuk and granddaughters Chelsea and KellyAnne. She is also survived by brothers Albert (Georgina) Fiebelkorn, Edward Fiebelkorn, William (Marge) Fiebelkorn and brother-in-law John Nielson as well as many nieces, nephews, cousins and many friends. Mom was born in Friedensfeld, MB on June 26, 1929. Mom grew up on the farm in Lowland, MB. She did not want to be a farmer so she left for Winnipeg in 1951. She worked at the Municipal Hospitals for many years where she made many friends. She got married in 1956 and raised her children Kenneth and Elaine. Mom worked at Cox's Bakery for many years then at Helen's Food Products until retirement. Mom was an active member of Grace Lutheran Church as well as in various seniors groups. She enjoyed gardening, fishing, knitting and outings with her many friends. We will miss her and hope she is at peace knowing how much she is loved and appreciated for her many years of devotion to her family. Funeral service will be held Monday, February 24, 2014 at 11:00 a.m. at Grace Lutheran Church 211 Kimberly Avenue, Winnipeg, MB with Pastor Bruce Gelhorn presiding. Interment to follow at Glen Lawn Memorial Gardens, 455 Lagimodiere Blvd., Winnipeg, MB. Honorary pallbearers will be Chelsea and KellyAnne Feniuk and Gerald Fiebelkorn.
