KENNETH SCHWARTZ 1947 - 2014 With heavy hearts the family would like to announce the passing of Kenneth Schwartz on Wednesday, February 26, 2014 at Seven Oaks Hospital at the age of 66. He was predeceased by his parents, Walter and Anne. Kenneth will be lovingly remembered by son Ed (Kathy), grandson Mason, brother Michael, sister Candice (Keith), and nephew Jordan (Rosa). Kenneth worked in the construction industry all his life, starting in the family business, then most recently as a private contractor for the City of Winnipeg. Kenneth was a longtime member of the Royal Canadian Legion Branch #030 where he made many long lasting friendships. Funeral service will be held on Wednesday, March 5, 2014 at 2:00 pm at Glen Eden Funeral Home, 4477 Main Street. Reception and interment to follow. Friends may make a donation in Kenneth's name to CancerCare Manitoba, the Heart and Stroke Foundation or to a charity of ones choice. Glen Eden Funeral Home & Cemetery 338-7111

  • I knew Kenny Schwartz in Victory School where we were in the same class in grades one to three until our family moved to Charleswood. He was a nice guy and I often wondered what became of him.
