MARION SHIRLEY BROSZEIT (nee FRIESEN) It is with deep sadness that we announce the peaceful passing of Marion on March 3, 2014. Marion was born on September 14, 1936 in Snow Flake, Manitoba. She is survived by sons Doug, Rick (Maria), Brian (Cheryl), and Wes (Elaine); grandchildren Stephen, Chris, Trisha, Scott, Willy, Tamara, Tylo and Anthony; great-grandchildren Trinity and Braelyn; sisters Grace (Earl) Smith and Doreen Friesen; as well as many nieces and nephews. Marion was predeceased by her husband Helmuth (Hal) Alfred Broszeit in 1993; daughter Debbie, son-in-law Lambert and grandson Daniel; brother Elmer; and sisters Louise, Irene and Diane. Marion loved to talk with her friends and families and have a few beers. Mom enjoyed bus tours to casinos and played bingo with her friends and families. Mom was an avid reader. She could read for hours. She worked at DeFehr/Palliser Furniture. The service for Marion will be Friday, March 7, 2014, 2:00 p.m. at Klassen Funeral Home. Honorary Pallbearers will be Chris Broszeit, Trisha Broszeit, Scott Broszeit, Willy Sieben, Tamara Sieben, Tylo Broszeit, and Anthony Novak. The family wishes to extend a special thank you to Heritage Lodge Personal Care Home. Flowers are gratefully declined. Donations may be made to CancerCare Manitoba, 675 McDermot Ave., Winnipeg, MB R3E 0V9.
