She was predeceased by her husband Roger, her loving parents Jean-Marie and Beatrice Lansard (née Laberge), five brothers: Isidore, Jean-Paul, Eugene, Ferdinand, André; and three sisters: Clémence, Claire, and Adrienne. She was much loved for her joyful outlook on life, her moral compass, her love of family, gardening, animals, and country music. She loved watching the news, keeping up to date on world events and having coffee with her siblings and friends. She was also one of the best bowlers in her league. She was so excited when, in 1997, she won an IMAX Lifetime Pass by becoming the one millionth customer at the Portage Place location! In the 1980s and early 1990s, Rose and her family lived in Texas, Quebec, and Ontario. They loved travelling, and camping. Rose and Roger also briefly lived in Chilliwack, BC in the early 1990s before moving back to Manitoba. In summertime, one of her favourite things to do was singing with Roger around the campfire. The Catholic faith was very important to her. • What a beautiful obituary. Auntie Rosie was always very sweet to me when I would see her. The last time I spoke with her was a few months ago, when Aunt Adrienne passed. She shared with me and my mom how much she still missed Uncle Roger. I know that they are together again, and though I'm very sad that she is gone, there is happiness too. I'm thinking of you guys. Saying goodbye is so hard. - Posted by: Leah Lansard (niece) on: Mar 07, 2014

  • Lise, Colleen, Cory, Your mother will always hold a very special place in my heart. I will always remember how beautiful she was (both inside and out). I remember thinking to myself as a kid, "wow, she looks like a movie star". I loved her sense of humor as well, and of course "the blob" comes to mind! Man she laughed so hard! Her smile would light up a room. LOTS of laughs and LOVE. ...... rest in peace my lovely lady. xoxo - Posted by: Sherry Kulbaba-Hoskin (Friend) on: Mar 07, 2014

  • My grandma was a big part of my life. I have many memories with her or of her. My grandma had a really big heart and loved helping people out as much as she could. She was an amazing gardener, always outside watering her beautiful flowers, every year she had some kind of garden. Actually when she hurt her foot last year her main worry was if she will still be able to attended to her garden with her foot that way. Gardening was definitely her biggest hobby and she was great at it. I have a lot of memories of outings with my grandma, we did lots of camping. She used to have a cottage at debonaire with my Aunty (Lise) for a while and that was always lots of fun and then she got rid of the cottage and bought a motorhome which we drove around everywhere. We (Janine, James, Stephanie, Simon and I) went camping at St. Malo lots with the motor home, we even spent the night in Walmart parking lot once, we did many adventurous things with my grandma. My grandma used to volunteer at the Landmark drop in so we were there every Friday even if my grandma wasn't volunteering that day. My grandma always liked keeping us kids busy. I have over a billion memories of her and shared millions of laughs with her. Always laughing and telling funny stories, lets just say it was never a dull moment with my grandma, she was so amazing. I will miss her so incredibly much but I will never forget her, she will be in my heart till the day I die and get to see her again. ❤ - Posted by: Sabrina Lussier () on: Mar 07, 2014
