BEVERLEY RAE BOND Beverley Rae Bond (nee Grant), aged 81, of Oakview Place, in Winnipeg, widow of David Albert Bond, passed away peacefully of complications from Alzheimer's disease on February 26, 2014. Beverley was born on November 22, 1932 in Winnipeg and was married on December 23, 1953. Beverley is survived by her four children Gail (Ron) of Annandale, VA, Cher of Vancouver, BC, Donald (Deborah) of Iles des Chenes, MB, and David (Ilona) of Oakbank, MB. She is also survived by six grandchildren Christopher, Stacey, Julie (Rylan) and Tyler (Nikki) Bond, and Benjamin and Amelia Lord, and one great-grandson, Wade Tait. Beverley's husband of 48 years, David Albert Bond, predeceased her on June 23, 2001. Beverley was a wonderful wife, mother and grandmother and will be deeply missed by her family and friends. Beverley and her husband were active members of the Gyro International Club in Winnipeg for many years. Beverley and her family loved the lake, and spent many days at the family cottage with family and friends. Her later years were spent comfortably at Oakview Place in Winnipeg. Our family would like to thank the staff at Oakview Place for their kind, compassionate and professional care. A family memorial service will be scheduled for the summer of 2014.
