Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryEDMOND JEAN JOSEPH BOISJOLI Peacefully, on Thursday, March 6, 2014 Edmond passed away at the Victoria General Hospital, at the age of 99 years. Edmond is lovingly remembered by his children Berthe (Florent) Robert, Armand (Lili), Roger (Edna), Yvonne Boisjoli (Joe), Jeanne (Aimé) Gougeon, Gilbert (Margelene) and Rénald, 21 grandchildren, great-grandchildren, his daughter-in-law Jeanne Muller, his sister Rita (Frank) Syposh, sister-in-law Gratia Boisjoli, as well as brothers and sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. He was predeceased by his wife Anna (nee Gauthier), son Gérard and granddaughter Micheline Boisjoli. Edmond was born and raised in La Broquerie, Manitoba. He spent a very good portion of his life working on his dairy farm in Ross, Manitoba. In 1967 he moved to the city and worked at the St. Boniface Hospital until his retirement. Edmond was a loving father and grandfather. He was very proud of his family and their accomplishments. His personality was to always be jovial. Edmond was an easy going person and had an infectious smile. The family would like to extend a word of gratitude to the doctors, nurses and staff of Riverview Health Centre, Actionmarguerite (St. Vital) and the Victoria General Hospital. Funeral Mass will be held on Wednesday, March 12 at 10:30 a.m. at the St. Boniface Cathedral, 190 avenue de la Cathédrale. Eulogy will be said at 10:15 a.m. Interment of his cremated remains will be held at a later date at Glen Lawn Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to a charity of your choice. Nous vous offrons nos très sincères condoléances ainsi qu’à Rita et Frank et Gratia. Après avoir vécu une longue vie exemplaire Edmond s’en est allé doucement fêter ses 100 ans avec le Seigneur.
