LaVerna attained her B.A. in English, and in addition to being a devoted wife and mother, was a teacher, speaker, and writer. Her devotion to the Lord gave her a deep compassion for people who were lonely and in need of friendship, and she lived to serve others. Laverna was a great inspiration to me. She was always encouraging. I taught Nathan in Sunday School. I greatly valued her wisdom. - Posted by: Mary Doell (Home Street Mennonite Church) on: Mar 08, 2014
