Dear Lorna I was thinking about you girls (bowling) the other day and wondering if it was still going. And as I am now living on Vancouver Island,I will go into the obit's on Sat. and here is Al's. How sorry I am to see of his passing. He was a great guy with a wonderful sense of humor. And how much fun Ernie and I had on the golf course giving him a bad time while he was doing the fairways. And of course we have known each other for over 40 yrs. So you take care, my thoughts are with you at this time. much love Averill - Posted by: Averill Petrie (Friend) on: Apr 12, 2014

Sad to learn of Al's passing, my condolences to you all. Al and I spent many merry times playing (or attempting to play) our clarinets with the Westwood Community Band. Always in high spirits, Al was a treat to know. Sincere regards, John Woods. - Posted by: John Woods (Musical mate.) on: Mar 24, 2014

Mrs. Teague, Ross, Linda, Blair and family, I have fond childhood memories of the great fireworks your dad would buy. He really was a kid at heart. We would set them off at the end of the street at dark in the summer. All the neighbourhood kids and their families would gather around to watch. We always looked forward to that burning school house! Our sincerest condolences on the loss of your husband, dad and grandpa.
